CPN commercial photographer in Devon, Tony Cobley was commissioned by Tungsten West plc to provide industrial and corporate photography for the precious metal / Tungsten mine at Hemerdon on the edge of Dartmoor, South Devon.
Tony spent two fascinating days shooting location commercial photography with experts such as geologists, mining engineers, lab technicians and the board of directors. The brief included commercial photography of all departments in action, general shots of the site plus headshots of all staff with a location studio and working environment images of the board of directors.

Tony said; “It was one of the most interesting shoots I’ve ever done. I enjoyed talking to all the staff and hearing about what they do and getting their ideas on the best locations for all the shots. It was fantastic to travel around by 4×4 vehicle to see all parts of the pit with some amazing views and backdrops. Some areas felt like either being on Mars or being in the Grand Canyon!”

All of Tony’s professional photography equipment was used for the shoot, creating such a wide range and style of commercial and advertising images for use in marketing, PR, social media and annual reports.
