Birmingham member Graham Oakes of the Commercial Photographers Network introduces a new client to the group.
During a photo shoot at a local football stadium in Sutton Coldfield Graham Oakes talked to the client about the nationwide coverage that would suit Ansell Lighting’s need for High Quality Architectural Lighting photography.

The client is keen to get professional photographic images of installations wherever and whenever they can.
Our Reading and Berkshire photographer Nigel Crump was commissioned to photograph Crosfields School, to highlight the lighting installed by the client.
Exteriors were the prime objective to show the improved security and general ambience of the grounds and parking areas of the school.

We shoot in RAW format to ensure all the necessary detail, clarity and sharpness is present in every submitted image. The Commercial Photographers Network pride ourselves on both the quality of photography and the ease of use for clients to access our Nationwide Network.
Two types of products were installed including LED lighting for car parks and footpaths. Our photographer arranged an early arrival 1 hour before sunset to see the location of the lighting products, and access how to shoot.
The products were all LED and this being a cool neutral lighting it makes shooting them ideal. There was an issue with multiple reflection when shooting column lighting but it was minimal, and we went for a natural look.
It is also important to show the effect of the lighting, ie the brightness at street level.This application was for school car park and walkway the client expressed his pleasure in seeing Ansell lighting and how bright the white light was.
So much so that there is more product being installed at this facility.

Dusk images are always advisable when featuring lighting. We are always trying to illustrate the clients story, to highlight the advantages of the product, in this case the lightness and brightness of Ansell’s installation.

Graham Oakes uses his super wide-angle lens to bring this stairwell shot to life. The clients quote “These look great – very impressive, thank you so much.”
This time it’s over to Reading – an area covered by Roddy Paine (Tunbridge Wells and Maidstone)
Roddy was commissioned to photograph the Dockside Outlet – a premier destination for both shopping and commercial premises. This was again to ensure the client had first class set of Architectural Interiors to use as a case study for this project. These images are already on Ansell Lighting’s website.

Roddy took great care to balance the photograph so that each element is perfectly exposed and highlighted.
Again the client was fulsome in his praise of the photography and the ease of use of the Commercial Photographers Network – having had headaches in the past commissioning shoots across the country. We have provided a First-Class resource that he can rely on.
