With venues covering the whole of the UK and Ireland, it was impractical and unrealistic to commission a single photographer, who would have had huge travel costs. As the organisation is funded by its members, budget was particularly important.
Having been let down, with both timings and quality in the past, a new employee was happy to recommend CPN member for the Midlands, Graham Oakes. Recognising that the project required several photographers around the country, Graham then organised and co-ordinated the photography with his CPN colleagues to photograph a wide range of campsites across the country.
This type of project is typical of numerous multi-site projects that the Commercial Photographers Network carries out each year. Clients know the quality of the photography will be second to none. After the images are captured and edited, they are then shared with all the photographers in the network. This way, each photographer can see what’s been produced for each area, access the client brief and read helpful hints and tips from everyone involved.
Having delighted the client with the first year’s photography, the CPN is currently working with the Camping & Caravanning Club with its current and future photography requirements.
