Covering two conferences in a single day, one in London, the other in Brighton, including an evening awards event is quite a challenge. When the timeline is 17 continuous hours, the challenge is, well…even more challenging.

Both Venues Prestigious Hilton Hotels
Two prestigious hotel venues, the Hilton Brighton Metropole and the Park Lane Hilton, London. In Brighton there’s the BCPC Congress, focussing on all things farming and the politics and science involved. The London event is the major annual gathering for property letting agents and estate agents in the UK, put on by the The Negotiator.
Government Ministers Give Addresses and Q & As
Government ministers are in attendance and speaking at each event. The Rt Hon Iain Duncan Smith and George Eustice MP, to name but two. Also, providing entertainment in the evening there’s comedian and TV celebrity host, Jimmy Carr… so, we need to be ready to cover all the angles with steady cameras.
Commercial Photographers Network Covers Both Events
With this kind of job, there’s no going back for a reshoot as things have to move on. We have to nail the shots as the opportunities arise. I was glad to be able to call in, reliable backup.
