This was part of an assignment to use interior photography, food photography and a 360 panoramic camera to photograph a group of 3 hotels near Inverness to showcase the accommodation and the quality of food on offer.

The first thing done on each site was to identify a subject that would work as an interactive 360° panoramic image that the client would be able to publish using the Google street view app. These images were shot using a precision made panoramic head that allows a perfect stitch using a fisheye lens.

The image of the honeymoon suite bedroom was done by adding in extra light using bounced flash to blend with the existing daylight. The image of salmon was shot in the dining room of the hotel where I created a small studio set and shot a selection of different foods.
One of the other two hotels that I photographed was a few miles away on the shores on Loch Ness. I was sure when I was taking a view through a window I saw something moving on the Loch…
It was almost certainly the Loch Ness Monster but I didn’t have my telephoto lens on at the time so didn’t get that photo!
