The commercial photographers network have been providing public relations photography for the major cinema chain, Cineworld at locations all over the UK.
The CPN’s South West member, Tony Cobley was initially commissioned to shoot Cineworld’s new cinema complex in Plymouth by the client’s PR agency. Over a period of several weeks, Tony covered a wide variety of areas including PR photography, interior and exterior photography, construction photography, as well as event photography of the promo events and gala opening night.
Tony mentioned to the marketing manager that he was a member of a national team of commercial photographers who could provide a co-ordinated solution for Cineworld’s PR photography requirements throughout the UK.

Thinking this was a great solution to sourcing experienced photographers around the country, several CPN photographers were briefed and new cinemas were then photographed across the UK from the Warrington to South Wales, Weymouth to Chester.

The work required the versatility and skill of experienced PR photographers, often working in low light situations with limited time. This required the photographers using a variety of techniques from long shutter speed shots of interiors and night time exteriors to fast shutter speed shots capturing spontaneous event photographs and fun group shots.

In the end the client was delighted with the photographs which solved the problem of sourcing and vetting several different photographers all over the country. They can now rely on the CPN to understand their brand brief, quote consistent prices and meet next day deadlines and produce professional PR photography with the quality and brand style that they need for their national and regional PR campaigns.
