Editorial & PR
Time is of the essence when it comes to editorial and PR photography. Producing eye-catching images, which tell a story or communicate a PR brief is one thing but if they’re not delivered on time the opportunity is lost. Editorial and PR photographers also have great demands made on their skills and experience. Often booked at short notice, a photographer will have to quickly understand and interpret a brief before arriving at a new location and making the best of the opportunities it presents. Some locations and subjects can make this particularly challenging, in which case a photographer has to employ everything at his or her disposal in order to create interesting and eye catching images.
If you look through the members pages of the Commercial Photographers Network, you’ll see that they all have a unique ability to seek out the interesting aspects of a subject and present it in a way which makes it leap off the page.
